About CookedAtWork

CookedAtWork is an independent website that publishes free browser games designed for short breaks. The games run directly in a desktop web browser, with no download or registration required.

Our games

The Troll Knows is a platform game in which the level adapts to the player: traps are placed according to how you have played previous attempts. It currently has three worlds of short, single-screen levels, with more in development.

How the games work

Games are played on desktop browsers with a keyboard.
Progress is saved automatically in your browser.
In Chrome and Edge, a game can be moved to a small floating window using the Pop out option.

Advertising

The games are free to play and are supported by advertising. Ads are shown between game stages and on the website, not during gameplay. Some games also offer optional ads that a player can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game benefit. See our Privacy Policy for details.
