ONE SHIFT

ONE SHIFT is a wrap-around sliding puzzle for desktop and mobile browsers. Slide whole rows and columns to put the numbers back in order. A tile that leaves one edge comes back on the other side.

How to play

Put the numbers in order with 1 in the top-left, or make the board match the small target picture. Solve a level in fewer moves to earn up to three stars.

• Mouse: drag a row left or right, or a column up or down, or click the arrows around the board
• Touch: swipe a line or tap the arrows
• Keyboard: ← ↑ → ↓ slide · W A S D pick a line · Z undo · R retry · H hint · P pause

Progress is saved automatically in your browser.

Worlds

• First Shifts: learn to slide on a small board.
• Big Board: four by four.
• Locks: some lines won't move.
• Shapes: build the target picture instead of the numbers.
• Conveyors: one-way lines.
• Links: linked lines move together.
• Mixed: an endless world with everything at once.

Shift Rush

Shift Rush unlocks on the map after level 6: solve as many boards as you can before the clock runs out. Every solved board adds time, and solving within the move target adds a little more.

Pop-out window

In Chrome and Edge, press O or select Pop out to play in a small window that stays above other applications. Close it, or press O again, to bring the game back to the page.
